OK OK Stacey hated the picture of the doctor last time, so I wont use it anymore. But we did go to the Doctor today and once again everything is GREAT. They told her that all her blood tests from last times were fine. They also measured her belly and she is right on schedule with coming up on 31 weeks and her belly measuring at 31. The heart beat of the baby sounded strong and the nurse practitioner was cracking us up. She gave me some tips on how to keep Stacey in a great mood all the way up to delivery like.....picking up after myself and emptying the dishwasher, all without being repeatedly ask!! I do that....don't I?? Ha HaAnyway our next doctors appointment is August 12th.
As some of you may or may not know Jill and Chris are moving to Tennessee at the end of this week, so Heidi and John decided it was time to try and get everyone together for their last weekend in Indiana. Dave and Rae were playing on the Fishers Town hall lawn. It was a great night with a great group. There were plenty of drinks, stories, and laughs. We ended up at Fionn MacCools for some more drinks and some bag pipes....yes I said bag pipes!!Heidi, Jillie, Me
Chris and Stacey Kurt and Jaime
Kurt telling the now FAMOUS Jimmy Buffet Bicycle story!!
Well we had our Doctors appointment this past Thursday and everything went well. It was an uneventful trip but I guess that is a VERY good thing. The Doctors are happy with Stacey's progress and the baby's heartbeat was 147 which is prefect. We have our next appointment on Thursday July 31st.
We got a few emails and comments that the picture of Stacey we posted did not show her bump. We decided to take a few more pictures tonight and hopefully you can get a good look at her baby bump and please look for more pictures soon. We have our next Doctors appointment tomorrow.
Well I was finally told it was time to get the nursery started. Last Friday with the help of Mammaw, Pappaw, and especially cousin Damon, the nursery was nearing completion. As you can see we still have the chair rail to be put in place and some blinds to install, but the painting is finished. Stacey and I would also like to send a special thank you to Grandpa Bob for helping with the assembly of the crib. I could not have done it without him.
As you can see below our colors are Banana Split and Key Lime Pie, with the theme being Frogs and Ducks.
It is Official this last Monday Stacey has turned hit a big milestone in her pregnancy....7 Months!! We have our next Doctors appointment this coming Thursday, and from now on we are going to see the Doc every 2 weeks. Stacey definitely has the pregnancy glow and has started her nesting with cleaning the house every other day!! It has been a lot of fun for dad!!!
These are two of the Ultrasound Photos that were taken on April 1st, 2008. Stacey would have been 12 weeks along at that time. In the first picture you can see Baby Layton sucking on it's thumb. In the second picture you can see Baby Layton looking right at the camera. Mom is going to have to look out for a lot of kicking. That leg is a long one!!
